Support You Can Trust

Our counselling is delivered by qualified therapeutic counsellors and supervised trainee counsellors, all working within recognised professional standards. Every practitioner is a registered member of the BACP or an equivalent ethical body, ensuring they follow strict guidelines on safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct. Counsellors also attend regular clinical supervision to maintain a high-quality, ethical service.

Confidentiality

What is shared in counselling stays private between the client and counsellor. Sessions are the space of the client, and we treat confidentiality with the care and respect it deserves.

There are only a few very rare circumstances where we may need to break confidentiality. These situations are guided by our ethical responsibilities and by law, and they exist solely to keep people safe. These boundaries are set out clearly in our Counselling Agreement, and we will walk through them with our clients in their first session and offer reminders whenever needed.
If a situation ever arose where confidentiality needed to be broken, we would always aim to discuss this with the client first so you understand exactly what is happening and why.

No surprises — just honesty, clarity and care.
